| Sometimes unfinished projects are just the thing! When we received a wedding announcement from a very special friend of ours, I knew just the quilt to complete for her gift. The fact that I was going to be on vacation and actually be in town to attend her wedding in Idaho really added to the excitement! |

| Everything was ready to put this quilt together. The top was completed, backing already purchased, and batting in the closet. I was able to piece the backing, pin the quilt, and begin the quilting on one day. It took an other full day of quilting (about 10 hours) plus a short morning to complete the quilt. |

| This quilt is the third one I have made from this pattern. I just love the dresden plates and the pieced blocks in between. Lots of quilting really makes them stand out. I am in the process of gathering fabric to make yet another one! |
